Studying abroad is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the world and yourself.
I personally have had the opportunity to study abroad twice: once with Lone Star College to Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and the second with the University of St. Thomas to Prague, Czech Republic.
In both study abroad trips I experienced wonderful cultures that have inspired me in my educational advancement and desire to make a different in our communities.
I believe that if more people studied abroad that we would be able to better understand the issues that we are all challenged with. In turn, this would allow for all of us to create solutions from which we can all benefit and agree upon.
